I'm a designer. I'm an experienced problem solver. I have over 10 years of diverse experience in user-centred design, with a broad tool set. I have designed physical spaces, work processes and digital interfaces for responsive web and mobile apps. I continue to evolve out of a desire to solve problems through design that require understanding people's intentions and abilities, while repeatedly asking, why?
RideCo is a local startup building software to provide efficient ride sharing services as an alternative form of public transit. I was hired initially to complete a heuristic review of the ride search functionality of the desktop website. My role grew into leading the user experience design of both the driver and passenger products for the service launch in May 2015.
I was part of a team that designed an app called PainPoint to engage new and young workers to identify and address work-related body pain. I created and tested two prototypes with users to discover tendencies and errors, focusing on validating the interaction design.

Bonfire is a KW startup offering SaaS that provides public institutions with the ability to evaluate all forms of RFx submissions from vendors. From research, to initial concept ideation, to wireframing, through to user testing, I championed the user experience in a new product design.

Ergonomists Without Borders is a not-for-profit organization that I lead along with several colleagues. It has grown to a community of more than 900 practitioners. I designed and developed the site using ZURB Foundation and DataTables to provide a database of free resources for ergonomics practitioners around the world.
